We assist expeditions all over the world with our customer tailored weather forecasts.
Beside the technical and objective difficulties, K2 also offers a whole range of weather difficulties. Its height of 8611 meters above sea level is already a first implication, but the sheer isolation of the mountain, being 500 meters taller than every other peak in the whole range, leads to a unique exposure to the high-altitude winds and the jet stream. Additionally the Karakoram offers much less reliability with its seasons, leading to different weather challenges every year. Some years, the window for a summit push is only a few hours long.
Our flat rate arrangements are simple and calculable: We offer you daily weather forecasts and weather charts, specialized for the needs of high-altitude climbers and expedition guides. We assist you with additional consulting in critical situations or when further questions are raised. Contact is possible through e-mail, SMS and sat phone.
In a critical situation anywhere on a mountain? In doubt about the weather development? You just need one or two forecasts for a summit push?
Don't hesitate to contact us for a single forecast! We will study the weather models for you and will give you an extensive forecast and briefing for the coming hours and days.
